Teen Stole Goat So He Could Ask Girl, 'Would You Goat With Me To Prom?

Teen Stole Goat So He Could Ask Girl, 'Would You Goat With Me To Prom?

Don’t kid around with other people’s goats.
Three Georgia teenagers are being tried as adults after allegedly stealing a goat Saturday night so that one of the boys could use the animal to help him ask a girl to the prom, WSB-TV reports.
Jacob Michels, 17, told police he was planning to ask the lucky lady, “Would you goat with me to prom?”
Milton Police say a neighbor of the goat’s owners called 911 after he saw four male teenagers loading something into a truck, then driving away, Fox 5 reports. When police caught up with the vehicle, they found that Chip, a 2-year-old goat, was inside.
Officers say Michels claimed he was merely going to take a photo of the goat to use as part of his invitation, and did not intend to bring the actual goat along when he made his request, according to The Smoking Gun. However, this did not explain why he and his friends allegedly drove off with the goat inside a truck.
Michels, along with two other 17-year-olds, Brendan Lawler and Walker Boston, were charged as adults with livestock theft, a misdemeanor. Their 16-year-old companion is facing charges as a minor.
Chip the goat is unharmed and is now back with his family.
It’s been a long time since any of the HuffPost Weird editors have attended prom -- some of us never went! :( However, we’d still wager that if this guy had actually just used a photo of a goat to make his joke, any potential prom date worth her salt would say yes. What kind of clever prom puns is he going to make now?
“I’m felon like going to prom with you.”
“Don’t leave me feeling jail-ted, come to prom with me.”
“Who needs prom court when you can go to actual court?”

iPhone was dropped into a lava lamp.See what happened!

0
While most people would kill to have an iPhone, others get their kicks from destroying them.
Ukrainian tech blogger ‘TechRax’ clearly falls into the latter category, as he recently filled himself introducing an iPhone 6 to a lava lamp.
After setting a tune playing and breaking the top off the lamp for easy access, the experiment begins.

At first the little phone seems to fare well, cheerily blaring out the now slightly muted music.
However after a few seconds the chemicals begin to seep inside and mess with the electronics, cutting out the music and strangely opening the drop-down menu.
Eventually the iPhone cuts out completely and starts ‘blinking orange’.
When someone tries to lift the lava lamp to remove the phone we hear a violent pop and some of the bizarre liquid starts seeping out.

The two guys manage to carefully get the phone out – by pouring everything on the floor – and find, to nobody’s surprise, the phone no longer works.
TechRax assures us he ‘will run this through cold water’ to try and fix it.
Somehow we don’t think that’s going to have the desirable affect.

Man Throws Brick At Window. Brick Bounces Off Window. Brick Knocks Man Out. (VIDEO)

We've come a long way as a species. Once nothing but bacteria floating in a salty ocean, we grew legs, pulled ourselves up by our boot-straps, and started walking on land. We hunted animals with our bare hands before developing spears and other weapons.

We built pyramids. We sent humans into space. We got knocked out trying to throw a brick through a car window. That's right. A would-be thief in Ireland attempted to break into a car by throwing a brick into the vehicle's window, only for the brick to bounce back and knock the man unconscious, CCTV video obtained by the Irish Independent shows.

The owner of the nearby Pheasant pub and the car that fought back, Gerry Brady, came out to investigate and saw the man lying in a pool of his own blood. That's when the suspect attempted to blackmail him, he said.

You should have heard the garda laughing when they saw the video. They were in stitches. Credit to them, they were straight out when we called and found the guy within minutes.” The man was quickly collected by authorities, and the incident remains under investigation. Still, this brave almost-robber has taught humanity an important lesson: No matter how evolved we are, sometimes we are bested by bricks.

Former Disney Star Christy Carlson Romano Strips After Losing Fifty Shades Bet

0
Christy Carlson Romano, aka Ren from "Even Stevens," has a problem with the Consent issue in Fifty Shades of Grey. In fact, she had so much disdain for the movie that she bet her husband it wouldn't win the box office in its second weekend, and the loser would have to stand outside in the freezing New York weather in their underwear.

From the title of this article, you can pretty much guess what happened. Unfortunately for Romano, the historic plummet at the box office for Fifty Shades wasn't enough to take it out of first place, so she had to strip down to some lingerie and head outside in the freezing cold. And to make matters worse, she also had a little trouble staying on her feet when she came back indoors.

What is the Armed Forces that it is much speculation in social media and on other types of sites?
- We let be rumors and speculation and stick to what we know and what is said.

Red Bull Dont't Gives You Wings

0

Red Bull Have To Pay 13 Million Dollars for False Advertising.

Red Bull GmbH agreed on Thursday to pay more than $13 million to settle a proposed class action lawsuit that alleges false advertising of its energy drinks, according to Law360.

If the proposed settlement is passed by the court, Red Bull would be required to pay $6.5 million into a settlement fund within seven days.

The settlement could include millions of individuals who purchased at least one Red Bull can over the past 10 years, offering class members the option of a $10 cash reimbursement or two free Red Bull products with an approximate retail value of $15 (Red Bull would cover shipping costs).

Red Bull sent BevNET an email with the following statement:

“Red Bull settled the lawsuit to avoid the cost and distraction of litigation. However, Red Bull maintains that its marketing and labeling have always been truthful and accurate, and denies any and all wrongdoing or liability.”

The plaintiff representing the class, Benjamin Careathers, said he had been drinking Red Bull since 2002 as part of the lawsuit he filed on Jan. 16, 2013 in U.S. District Court of the Southern District of New York. The suit argues that Red Bull misleads consumers about the superiority of its products with its slogan “Red Bull gives you wings” and its claims of increased performance, concentration and reaction speed, to name a few. This deception is proliferated through the company’s advertising on television, the Internet, social media and events, athlete endorsers, glossy print brochures, marketing campaigns and its slogan-promoting Red Bull Flugtag series, according to the suit.

“Such deceptive conduct and practices mean that [Red Bull’s] advertising and marketing is not just ‘puffery,’ but is instead deceptive and fraudulent and is therefore actionable,” the suit says.

The class action cites articles by The New York Times, Nutrition Reviews and the European Food Safety Authority Journal, which indicate that energy drinks provide their boost through caffeine alone, not guarana or any other ingredient.

The suit says that a 7 oz. cup of drip coffee contains approximately 115 to 175 milligrams of caffeine, depending on the blend, and a 12 oz. serving of Starbucks coffee costs $1.85 and “would contain far more caffeine than a regular serving of Red Bull.” An 8.4 oz. can of Red Bull contains 80 milligrams of caffeine.

“Even though there is a lack of genuine scientific support for a claim that Red Bull branded energy drinks provide any more benefit to a consumer than a cup of coffee, the Red Bull defendants persistently and pervasively market their product as a superior source of ‘energy’ worthy of a premium price over a cup of coffee or other sources of caffeine,” the suit says.

Despite Red Bull’s denial of wrongdoing, the company has voluntarily withdrawn and revised marketing claims challenged in court, according to the plaintiff’s motion.

Plaintiffs David Wolf and Miguel Almaraz made similar allegations in a lawsuit filed in California federal and later transferred to New York, Law360 writes.
